Wick Neighbors will sponsor a community ecumenical service at 10 a.m. July 11 at First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave., where the Rev. Nick Mager is pastor.
The Rev. Dr. Donna Sloan of First Presbyterian will give the sermon.
Participating congregations are St. John’s Episcopal Church, Butler Memorial Presbyterian Church, Oak Baptist Church and St. Columba Cathedral.
Refreshments will follow.
Family camp

The 88th annual meeting of the Free Methodist Tri-State Family Camp, 1027 Anderson Boulevard, will be Thursday through July 18.
The camp is a gathering of Free Methodist churches of the Pittsburgh Conference.
This year’s evangelist is Eddie Phillips from Michigan. He has been an ordained elder of the Free Methodist Church since 1981.
Evening services begin at 7 p.m.
Missionaries to Arad, Romania, Scott and Paula Dunn and their children, will relate their adventures in a program at 2 p.m. July 10.
Casual and respectful dress is appropriate and parking on the grounds is available.
Tri-State Family Camp is one of 14 Holiness Camps in the state of Ohio that meets on an annual basis. It has convened for more than 100 years.
Israel tour

Don Reed Sr. will host his 10th tour to Israel from Nov. 11-21 with Dr. Ernie Pasquale and Pastor Lester Kirk.
The cost is $2,989, which includes airfare from Pittsburgh to Israel, hotels, tour guides, tax and tariffs. The tour is limited to 20 travelers and 11 seats are available.

“A Musical Tribute to the Unseen Hero” is the theme of a musical tribute planned for 4 p.m. July 11 at New Vision New Day Ministries, 1970 Everett Ave., where Robert G. Moore Jr. is pastor and Selena M. Moore is co-pastor.
Faith festival

The Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Life will sponsor a Faith and Family Festival on July 24 on the grounds of Walsh University’s Hoover Park at 1875 E. Maple St.
Doors will open at 9 a.m.
Highlights of the day includes talks by the Rev. Larry Richards at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., a concert with singer/songwriter Tony Melendez at 1 p.m., and Mass celebrated by Bishop George V. Murry at 4:30 p.m.
The day features activities, music and lessons for children and teens, the family rosary, Eucharistic adoration and lunch.
Advance registration is $45 for a family or $20 a person before July 16 and $65 a family or $30 a person after that date and at the door.

Workshop set

“Women on Their Own” will be presented at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Temple El Emeth, 3970 Logan Way.
Presenter will be Beatrice Nechin, Nassau County social worker with 30 years of experience. She is the host and producer of the radio talk show, “Young at Heart,” on WHPC in New York.
The program is geared to those single, widowed, divorced or a caregiver, 60 and older.
