Couple accused of abusing mom

A judge has set bond at $10,000 each for a couple accused of locking the woman’s mother in a sweltering attic for three days.

Shawn Lloyd, 25, and Adrienna Daniels, 28, were arrested Thursday on felony charges of abduction. Authorities say they locked 59-year-old Mary Daniels inside the attic of her Cincinnati home when they left June 23 for Adrienna Daniels’ planned C-section at a hospital.

Police say Mary Daniels was left in the attic during a period when temperatures outside were in the 90s and the city was under a heat emergency.

Police say the woman was heard yelling for help and was treated for dehydration.
