Austintown Community Church welcomes new members

The Faith Discovery Class of 2010 at Austintown Community Church celebrated completion of studies by joining into the membership and life of the church May 23.

As members of the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination, emphasis was placed on knowing the Bible, studying the tenants of the faith and learning the responsibilities of membership.

Each week, members of the church shared their personal faith story with the class and mentors provided additional assistance for this coming-of-age experience.

Members of the class were Adam Campbell, with mentor John Palmer; Bree Helminiak, with mentor Amy Schaffer; Cassie Keller with mentor Ella Mallory; and Rebecca Pritchard, with mentor Rick Farina.

Assisting Rev. David Roberts with instruction was Brad Bloomster, director of ministries, and Linda Milne.
