Putt-Putt tournament scheduled for Warren

WARREN

The Northern Ohio National Professional Putters Tournament will be contested at the Putt Putt Golf course in Warren on July 17-18.

Several of the contestants have previously appeared on ESPN.

The activity, which starts on July 17 at noon, will take place at 3937 Youngstown Rd., in Warren.

This will be their initial visit to the Warren course.

This tournament is one of five major championships.

One of the professionals on the tour is John Napoli of Daytona Beach, Fla. who recorded an 18 in tournament play.

There will be 12 past PPA national champions in action.

The format calls for 144 holes or eight rounds of golf each day.
