Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman hosted its annual summer concert and Ice Cream Social June 23 for community members. Participants were served ice cream sundaes and banana splits while listening to local entertainer Steve Fazzini.
His band included trumpet player Rande Isabella and Daniel Schipero on the keyboard.
The Ice Cream Social and concert was going to be an outdoor event, but was moved indoors due to inclement weather. The event was open to the public and free.
Shepherd of the Valley hosts several community concerts throughout the summer.
