PITTSBURGH

A Sharon man faces sentencing in federal court after his admission to distributing crack cocaine.

Lewendo Lamont Teague, 38, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of knowingly, intentionally and unlawfully distributing 50 grams or more of the drug.

Robert S. Cessar, acting United States attorney, said Teague was recorded selling crack cocaine on two dates in the Farrell/Sharon area.

Teague entered his plea before United States District Court Judge Arthur J. Schwab, who set a sentencing date of 9:30 a.m. Jan. 28, 2011. Teague will be in federal custody until that time.

He faces not less than 10 years and up to life imprisonment, a fine of $4 million or both.

The FBI, Pennsylvania State Police and Sharon police jointly conducted the investigation that led to the prosecution of Teague and dozens of other drug dealers from that area, Cessar said.
