A man was shot on Youngs-town’s East Side on Wednesday night.

Police arrived at Woodcrest Avenue around 9 p.m.

The gunshot victim was driven to Northside Hospital in a private car and is in stable condition.

Police believe they know who was involved in shooting.

City firefighters were dispatched around 9 p.m. to a blaze at a local pallet shop on Grant Street.

Dispatchers said the crew was expected to be on the scene for several hours.
