55-PLUS CLUB MINERAL RIDGE

• The 55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Snacks will be provided by the committee. After card games members will dine out.

AARP 3104

• Canfield Chapter 3104, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will be available from noon to 12:45 p.m. The speaker will be Bertram DeSouza, editorial writer for The Vindicator. Dues will be collected. Reservations will be taken for the following tours: Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game and tailgate party June 18, and a six-day trip to Savannah and Charleston May 16-22. AJAX MAGNETHERMIC

• Retirees of Ajax Magnethermic will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vernon’s Cafe in Niles for a Valentine’s Day luncheon. Wives and guests are welcome.

CORNERSBURG

• Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield with Linda Wiland presiding. Dinner will be served at a cost of $10. Mona Pocatko of Youngstown Mahoning County Library will present a program. Greeters will be Caroline Steiner and Dorothy Woods. Make lunch reservations with Wiland at (330) 318-8472. The senior services division of the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Department will present the March program.

GIRARD

• Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. February birthdays and anniversaries will be celebrated, and a short video will be shown after the business meeting. Reservations will be accepted for a pizza party to take place Feb. 17.

LOWELLVILLE

• Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at the conference room of Lowellville City Hall. Delores Romeo will preside, and there will be a speaker from the Metropolitan Housing Authority. A meatloaf lunch will be provided by Phyllis Nolfi of Gianna’s Catering. Birthdays and anniversaries for December, January and February will be acknowledged. Reservations are to be made with Janet Davanzo, (330) 793-3176. New members are welcome. MARTHA LUPSE

• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Ruby Farkas will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. • St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parish center. Ruth Infante will preside, and reports will be given by Mary Jo Theis and Carol McClain. Dorothy LoSasso and Ann Lessick are on the luncheon committee. February birthdays will be acknowledged, and annual dues will be collected. Attendance prizes, a 50-50 raffle, cards and bingo will be featured.

ST. NICHOLAS

• The Feb. 9 meeting of St. Nicholas Senior Citizens will begin at 11 a.m. with a program in the lower church followed by a luncheon in the Great Hall. Reservations must be made by Wednesday by mailing a check for $8 payable to the group to Lora Opsitnik, 138 Iroquois St., Struthers, OH 44471. Dues of $5 are now payable; new members are welcome.
