Jewish/Christian studies sessions scheduled

Jewish/Christian Studies North and South have scheduled upcoming sessions on two different topics. Sessions are open to all interested people.

The North group will focus on the role of marriage and its blessings and challenges in these religious traditions — Jewish, Christian and Islamic.

The Rev. Daniel Rohan, pastor of St. Mark Orthodox Church in Liberty, will address the topic, “How Orthodox Christians look at Marriage and Divorce,” on Wednesday. Participants will gather at 12:30 p.m. and the study will start at 1 at Temple El-Emeth, 3970 Logan Way, Liberty.

The South group will meet at 2 p.m. Feb. 10 and 24 at Congregation Ohev Tzedek, 5245 Glenwood Ave., Boardman, and focus on the topic, “Looking at the Upcoming Sabbath Readings.” Future dialogue dates will be decided.
