Early childhood art classes start Saturday

NILES —The Art Outreach Gallery will host early childhood art classes from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 13 in the Eastwood Mall.

The classes will be taught by Elisha Kearns, Rae’Chele King, and Ally Schaffer, early childhood education students at Trumbull Career and Technical Center. Kearns, King and Schaffer are volunteering their time to make the project available to children in the community.

The classes will include comprehensive art projects, music and games for children ages 3 to 5.

There is no fee for the classes, but a donation of a non-perishable food item is requested. The food will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Gallery is located along the concourse between Sears and Macy’s across from Kitchen Collection. Gallery hours are 5 pm to 9 pm on Fridays, 1 to 9 pm. on Saturdays, and 1 to 5 pm on Sundays. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
