Since when is bribery OK?

EDITOR:

Every time I read the paper, I read ofsome so-called educated idiot that you give a large piece of print to and what they are saying just don’t make any sense whatsoever.

Ruth Markus of the Washington Post had a 4-column piece in which she said bribery is OK as long it’s the politicians doing it.

All these cases of bribery were done behind closed doors. How can she say that’s OK? If it’s OK, then she should give everyone a chance to compete for it. Maybe the GOP can find some way to give my tax dollars to one of the other senators that was going to vote yes more money to vote no. After all, it’s not their money, it’s the taxpayers’ money.

Why in the world would you even print such idiocy from a so-called columnist?

Our illustrious president promised that there would be not be any pork in the health care bill. Along comes dirty Harry and says, “if your Senator didn’t put any pork in this bill he wasn’t doing his job.” Boy, there is a sure winner.

Outright political corruption; but we won’t forget it come next election.

You have already printed two large articles where Strickland is begging for votes. He sees the handwriting on the wall, and I am a Democrat for the last 63 years.
