ASSOCIATIONS

• Gold Wing Road Rider Association, Chapter M, will meet Saturday at The Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. Supper will be at 5:30 p.m. and the business session at 6:30. CLUBS

• Greenford Ruritan Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Greenford Lutheran Church. Perfect attendance pins will be handed out, and a membership vote will be taken on the new changes to the club’s by-laws. All members are urged to attend.

• McDonald Parents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

• Newcomers Club’s meeting at noon Wednesday will be at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., in Canfield. Members and guests are asked to call (330) 726-9620 for reservations. The program will be by Glitter Girls, who will show how to accessorize existing wardrobes. Newcomers Club welcomes new members. Luncheon meetings take place the fourth Wednesday of the month. Members also are invited to the Needlework Club, Birthday Group, RoundTowners and Movie Club.

• Poland Women’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Dr. Nancy Gantt will speak on “Breast Cancer Awareness.” Hostess will be Nancy Varley with Carol Morris and Nancy Wilber as cohostesses.

• Youngstown American Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., will host an annual Valentine party at 1 p.m. Feb. 7. Members are asked to take a casserole. There will be a fee of $5 for members and $7 for guests. Reservations are to be made by Feb. 5 by calling (330) 792-5124.

• Youngstown Panhellenic will meet at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 at Poland Library. Dr. Andrew Schmutz will speak on “Your Healthy Body.”

• Youngstown South Christian Women’s Club will have an “Oh So Sweet” luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Ellen Harvischak from Clarencedale Cakes will be featured, and music will be by Eric Reed. A talk on “Who’s Got the Controller?” will be by Judy Inman from Erie, Pa. The cost is $13. • Youngstown Women’s Connection will have a “New Adventures” luncheon at noon Feb. 9 at Lucianno’s Banquet Room, 1739 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown. GUILDS

• The Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is hosting a “sit-n-sew” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 11 at Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren. Take your machine, cutting mats and basic sewing supplies. Members will be sewing drawstring tote bags for our troops. Take a covered dish to share. Nonmembers, regardless of your skill level, are welcome to participate and get acquainted with the group and help our troops. If you can’t sew, you can cut.
