‘One Voice’ seeks to improve education in the region

YOUNGSTOWN — ‘‘One Voice,” a comprehensive effort to improve education from preschool through college across a four-county region of northeast Ohio, was unveiled this morning by a group of educators, business leaders, social service agencies, government leaders and parents.

The Eastern Ohio P-16 Partnership for Education is a collaborative effort designed to foster better outcomes for students in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula counties. The project has been in the works for the past year and focuses on a seamless educational experience to support post-secondary success and career readiness.
