Nine people escape fire without injury

FARMINGTON TOWNSHIP — Nine people escaped without injuries from a house fire at 4913 Hoffman-Norton Road Monday afternoon.

Firefighters from four departments — Farmington, Bristol, Southington and Mesopotamia townships — extinguished the blaze, which was reported at 4:44 p.m., said Rick Pellin, a supervisor with the Trumbull County 911 Center in Howland.

No further information was available Monday night.
