BERLIN CENTER — The gazebo at the Mastropietro Winery was the setting at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 1 as marriage vows were exchanged by Mackenzie Renee Zimmerman, daughter of Robert and Toni Zimmerman, all of 7123 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield, and Kevin William Prus Jr. 7481 Huntington Drive, Apt. 4, Boardman, son of Kevin and Dawn Prus, 8091 Blue Heron Drive, Canfield.

Pastor Brent Allan officiated at the ceremony, and a reception followed in a tent on the grounds of the winery.

After a wedding trip to Aruba, they live at the groom’s address.

The bride wore a strapless ivory gown embellished with sequins and featuring gathered layers on the bodice and chapel train.

Light clover green gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Tammy Mraz and the bride’s cousin, Kayla Tackett, and the bridesmaids, Kim Ursich, the groom’s sister; Valerie Cramer; Nanna Frimpong; Malorie Toot; Laura Rice and Brittney Barnett. Flower girl was Julianna Elswick, the bride’s cousin.

Serving as best man was Sean May, and groomsmen were Michele Ionno; Andy Naples; Don Ursich Jr., the groom’s brother-in-law; Rob Zimmerman, the bride’s brother; and Jonathon Applegate.

Mrs. Prus is attending Youngstown State University.

A graduate of the College of Wooster with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Mr. Prus is a self-employed shop manager at Prus Engine and Machine in Columbiana.
