Team plans fundraiser

BOARDMAN — Boardman Lady Spartans Fastpitch Softball Team will sponsor a Night at the Races as its major fundraiser of the year.

The event will be Jan. 30 at the Operating Engineers Hall, 291 McClurg Road, where doors open at 5:30 p.m. and races begin at 7.

The $5 donation entitles anyone over 21 years of age to salad, pizza, wings and soft drinks or draft beer. There will be a Chinese auction, a super bowl block pool, number boards and a 50-50 drawing. For more information contact Jim Massaro (330) 565-9200.
