YOUNGSTOWN — Jessica Anne Moss and Thomas Frank Schmitt, both of 4315 Straight Arrow Road, were married at 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at Sacred Heart Church. Officiating were the Revs. Charles Poore and Andrew Kolitsos, and Deacon Charles J. Moss III.

After a reception at the Butler Institute of American Art, the couple left on a wedding trip to Florence, Tuscany, Cinque Terre and Milan, Italy. They live in Beavercreek.

Parents of the bride are Edward and Anne Moss, 7956 Kerrybrooke Trail, Poland, and the groom’s parents are David and Joan Schmitt,, 158 A Bison Lane, Stratford, Conn.

The bride’s blush taffeta gown featured a gathered asymmetrical waist, a beaded bodice and a chapel train.

Kaitlyn Moss and Katherine Higham, the honor attendants, and the bridesmaids, Sarah Ogden, Anne Schmitt, Andria D’Amato and Stephanie Chesney, wore chocolate brown gowns.

Michael Schmitt and John Drayo shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Kevin Crocket, Erik Moss, Joseph Antonucci and Joshua Werner.

The bride graduated from Ohio University at Athens with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is an assistant director of development for the college of arts and science at Miami University in Oxford.

The groom is an attorney with Altick and Corwin Co., LPA, in Dayton. He earned a degree in secondary education and a juris doctorate from the University of Dayton
