ABOUT THE EVENT Food for thought

Our Valley Cooks will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 6 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. The event will include a recipe challenge contest with local competitors, a food expo and an appearance by Food Network chef Melissa d’Arabian. Area chefs will evaluate recipe challenge submissions and choose three finalists each from the pasta, entr e and dessert categories.
