• Niles SCOPE Center, 14 E. State St., Niles, has scheduled the following: Monday, bridge at 10 a.m.; Arthritis Foundation exercise program ($1) at 11 a.m., quilting and cards at 1 p.m., cards and lunch ($2) at 4, and TOPS at 5; Tuesday, breakfast ($2) at 9 a.m., square dancing ($3) at 9:30, luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. ($3 members and $4 nonmembers), arthritis aerobic exercise class at 12:30 ($1), preregistration is required for the 500 tournament at 1, and pinochle and Wii bowling at 2:30; Wednesday, chair Yoga at 10 a.m.; luncheon ($3 members and $4 nonmembers) at 11:30 a.m., and bingo at 1; Thursday, line dancing at 9:30 a.m., lunch ($3 for members and $4 for others) at 11:30, pinochle and bridge at 1, and Wii bowling at 2:30; Friday, free art class at 10, arthritis exercise program ($1) at 11, sandwich/salad lunch ($2) at 11:30, Texas Hold’em and card games at 1 p.m. Call the center, (330) 544-3676.
Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, center closed; Tuesday, oil painting at 10, computer class at 10 and noon, exercises at noon, Digital Club at 2; Wednesday, watercolor class, Tai Chi at noon, and 500 cards at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., exercises at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2; and Friday, board games at 1 p.m. Special events include: Tuesday, New Middletown Fun Day at 10 a.m.; Wednesday, Lake Milton Field trip to Spread Eagle Tavern at 11 a.m.; Thursday, Boardman Fun Day at 10 a.m.; and Friday, Drake’s Landing and Whitehouse Fruit Farm outing at 11.
