Jan. 2

Breaking and entering: Wedgwood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road, was broken into, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Receiving stolen property: Courtney Fidram, 23, 1967 Elmtrace, Austintown, was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest at First Place Bank, 4390 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Siding was damaged by paint balls at a home in the 90 block of North Main Street.

Breaking and entering: A coin dryer was broken into and change taken at apartments in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: T.J. Rider, 72, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply for littering and depositing of garbage in the 4700 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Aggravated robbery: A male suspect simulated having a weapon robbed Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road, and fled southbound on state Route 46 in a red Dodge Neon.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Baker Street.

Jan. 3

Theft: An Ohio State University hoodie was stolen from Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Fernand Venet, III, 25, and Brenda Connolly, 45, both of 111 Rosemont Drive, were arrested on a charge of domestic violence at the home. A female juvenile was also arrested.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Theft: Groceries were stolen from a vehicle at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.

Telephone harassment: Harassing phone calls were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: An apartment window was broken out and a television was stolen in the 5000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Telephone harassment: Unwanted telephone calls were received at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Theft: A scanning unit was stolen and pawned by an employee at Jeswald’s Towing, Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 4

Criminal damaging: Pink paint balls were shot at several sections of a home and garage in the 2000 block of Spring Meadow Court.

Burglary: An apartment was burglarized in the 100 block of Fitch Boulevard.

Auto theft: A 1999 Jeep Cherokee was stolen at S&C Auto Sales, 3733 Mahoning Ave.

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $20 bill was presented at Mahoning County Court No. 4, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 5

Fraud: Fraudulent charges were made to an account at a home in the 2000 block of N. Redgate Lane.

Theft: A credit card was lost at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road and used in Boardman.

Theft: A Motorola Nextel phone was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Eric W. Uphold, 39, Goshen Road, Salem, was arrested on a charge of felony theft after security at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. stopped him for taking a 26-inch Sanyo television.

Jan. 6

Criminal damaging: A tire was cut on a car at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Theft: A $200 loan was not repaid by customer at Check-Into-Cash, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $110 in cash was stolen from an auto at a home in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Prescription medication was stolen out of an auto at Mike’s Lounge, 5532 Mahoning Ave.

Liquor violation: Police issued a summons to waitress Natalie Santiago, 27, 6094 Calloway Circle, Austintown for selling alcohol to an under-cover, underage customer that police had sent into Buffalo Wild Wings, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Liquor violation: Gregory Workman, 38, 32 Orange Drive, Warren was issued a summons for selling liquor to an underage customer working undercover for police at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court. The accused was working as a bartender and club manager at the time of the incident.

Liquor violation: Police issued a summons to James A. Vitullo Jr., 24, 612 Pierce Drive, Youngstown for serving alcohol to an underage, confidential informant at Go Go Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Jan. 7

Warrant: Chad Kimble, 27, of Apt. 154, 3250 Brandywine Drive, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in Girard Municipal Court on drug charges.

Burglary: Copper pipe was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons for disorderly conduct to Julie G. Fetty, 7014 Callaway Circle,Apt. 1, Austintown at Jeremiah Bullfrog, 5529 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 8

Animal complaint: Brenda L. Connolly, 45, 111 Rosemont Ave., was issued a summons for failing to keep a dog restrained on her property after being warned once about her pit bull.

Criminal trespassing: Glenn E. Shaefer, 34, 44 Romaine Ave., Boardman was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing, public intoxication and resisting arrest at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.

Theft: An online theft of over $110 was reported at an apartment in the 500 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Aggravated menacing: A man threatened employees at Woodforest Bank, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated robbery: A man brandishing a pocket knife demanded the money in the cash register, but the clerk refused and he ran away at Uni-Mart, 5502 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A television was recovered in a laundry room in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Identity theft: Two cell phone accounts were suspended by a former employee of a cell phone company who was a friend of the victim’s ex-boyfriend at a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.

Jan. 9

Burglary: A man is accused of burglary at a home in the 3000 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Drug offense: Eddie Lavienna, 18, 561 Waters St., Campbell, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana in the 5000 block of Clarkins Drive.

Burglary: Entry was gained into a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue by cutting a screen on a patio door.

Fraud: Two unauthorized charges were made to a Charter One debit account, 6071 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Angel L. Mendez, Jr., 28, 659 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, was issued a summons for theft at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Johna Wright, 20, 1080 Eastway Drive, Apt. 2, Youngstown was arrested on charges of theft, child endangering and three counts of assault on an officer at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Antoine Davis, 45, 4183 New Road, was arrested on a domestic violence charge at 4183 New Road.

Robbery: An 83-year-old female had her purse taken off her after being pushed to the ground in the parking lot of her apartment building in the 80 block of N. Raccoon Road. She was carrying in groceries.

Criminal damaging: An apartment door was written on and a cable line cut at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Assault: A female employee was assaulted by two females at Payless Shoes, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Jan. 10

Auto theft: A 2003 Chevrolet was stolen at Go Go Girls Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Road.
