What country would you travel to if you were a penguin?

Ruth Metzger’s first-grade class learns where different countries are located by traveling along with a penguin in their storybook. This penguin travels all over the world.

Japan, Egypt, France and Mexico are just a few countries he chooses to sightsee. With each country, the students learn specific information about its culture and fashion.

This first-grade class was given the task of creating the atmosphere of where penguins are found. They were split into four groups and worked as a team to create a mosaic full of snow, igloos and of course, penguins.

Each group was given black and white construction paper, one piece of blue paper and glue. They rest was up to their imagination.
