Concert to raise funds for Epstein-Barr Virus Foundation

WARREN — The Frank Fordeley Band and the Illusions of Rock Stars will perform at 6:30 tonight at Packard Music Hall. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at Fordeley’s Music, 4922 Mahoning Ave. N.W., or by calling (330) 717-1469. Tickets also will be available at the door. Proceeds will be donated to the Epstein-Barr Virus Foundation.

Fordeley, a Warren-area resident, was diagnosed with EBV in 1988 and has since been treated on a weekly basis.

Several Fiori electric guitars and a Fiori drum set will be raffled off at the concert. There will be two opening bands, including the Loaded Blue Band. Heavyweight boxer Nicolia Firha, about whom Fordeley has written a song, will be present to sign autographs.
