Ryan T. Sankovic was found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout after completing the requirements and being examined by an Eagle Scout Board of Review.

Ryan, a senior at Canfield High School, is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Danny Sankovic. He began his Scouting career 11 years ago at St. Charles Parish in Boardman as a Tiger Cub. Presently he is a member of Troop 115 of the Greater Western Reserve Council.

Earning 23 merit badges, the Ad Altiere Religion Award, the Pope Pius XII Religion Award, completing Junior Leadership Training, and serving as Senior Patrol Leader are several of his scouting accomplishments. For six years while serving in Troop 115, Ryan was top salesman for Boy Scout Popcorn, selling over $2,500 in 2008 to earn a Scout Scholarship.

Ryan is active at St. Michael’s Parish as an usher and Eucharistic Minister. At school, he is a member of the National Honor Society, number one player on Canfield’s varsity tennis team, and Lieutenant Governor of District 21 in Northeast Ohio for Key Club. Ryan plans to pursue a career in medicine after graduation.
