Civic League plans covered dish dinner

NEW WILMINGTON — The Civic League of Wilmington Township, Mercer County, is having a covered dish dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Learn what’s going on in the community, and meet the New Wilmington Township Supervisor Duke Whiting.

The supervisors will tell what’s in store for the new year and update progress on the pavilion.

Honored guest will be Ginny Richardson, tax collector of Mercer County, who will install the Civic League officers.

Returning are Susan Brandt, president; and Fred Deramo, treasurer. New members are Bill McKissick, treasurer, of Cowden Road; and Sara Krepp, secretary, of Bethel Road.

The Civic Club will provide ham loaf, chicken, rolls, drink and cake, attendees provide a casserole or salad and their own table service.
