Ladder truck dedication in Ellsworth

ELLSWORTH — Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Department, 6034 S. Salem Warren Road, will host an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.

A new ladder truck. which was purchased with a FEMA grant of $475,000, will be dedicated during the event. The grant writer and fire department will be honored, and refreshments will be served.

Also scheduled at the fire station is an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast to be served from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12, and free for those 4 and under.
