Chili cook-off fundraiser Saturday in Hubbard

HUBBARD — Sample some great-tasting chili and meet and greet area politicians and government officials at Hubbard Environmental and Lane Preservation’s fifth annual chili cook-off this weekend.

The fundraiser is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday in St. Patrick Church hall, 357 N. Main St. Former U.S. Rep. James A. Traficant will speak briefly at 6:30.

Rick Hernandez and David Wittenauer are founding members of HELP, which was organized about eight years ago.
