2nd sales-tax hearing tonight at Covelli Centre

YOUNGSTOWN — The second of two public hearings on renewal of a half-percent sales tax for Mahoning County will be at 6:30 tonight at the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown.

About 60 people attended last week’s first hearing in Canfield. Many were county employee, and most of them supported renewal of the countywide tax.
