AARP 4339
• Austintown Chapter 4339, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, with Sandra Crew presiding (weather permitting). There will be a memorial service and election and installation of 2010 officers, board members and nominating committee. Dues for 2010 will be accepted, and refreshments will be served. Blood pressure screenings will be available beginning at 12:30.
New members are invited to join The Noteables and begin practicing with the group at 1 p.m. Jan. 19.

GOLDEN AGERS
• The Golden Agers of St. Joseph Church, Austintown, will not meet in January or February. The next meeting will be March 11.
GOLDEN PILLARS
• An 11 a.m. liturgy will precede Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Golden Pillars at noon at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center, 356 S. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Eleanor Hnat will preside, birthdays and anniversaries will be observed, and cards and bingo will be played. Members are asked to take their own table setting for the luncheon.
HAPPY WANDERERS
• Happy Wanderers will meet at noon Friday at Corner House Christian Church. Members are to take a sandwich for the noon luncheon. Those whose last names begin with M-Z are asked to take cookies. The program will be by Bob Martino, who will speak about his work and travels around the world. The hospitality committee will be Alma Ludwick, Mary Jane Dean, Ilene Hudavoni, and Alice and Bill Jugenheimer. Greeters will be Ray and Lillian Zedaker and Bobbie and Herb Grantz.
The 2010 tour brochures will be available; members may begin to register for tours.

• J.C. Penney Retirees will meet for a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Denny’s in Boardman.
KEENAGERS
• The Keenagers of Third Baptist Church will meet at 10 a.m. Jan. 19 at the church for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration with a speaker. A payment on the June trip to Washington, D.C., is due.
MAHONING NATIONAL BANK
• Retirees of Mahoning National Bank will meet at 12:30 Wednesday at Holiday Inn South in Boardman. All retirees are welcome.
MARTHA LUPSE
• Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Douglas Martin will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. • Tuesday’s meeting of St. Anthony Seniors has been canceled.

• St. Brendan 60-Plus Seniors will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Maxwell Hall with Dorothy LaSasso presiding. Reports will be given by Ann Banyots and Dorothy Prochek. The cost of the lunch is $1. Dues of $5 will be collected, and there will be a 50-50 drawing, cards and bingo.
