Lazazzera 50th is observed with guests at party

AUSTINTOWN — Rachel’s Restaurant in Austintown was the setting Nov. 21 for a party honoring Mr. and Mrs. Felix Lazazzera of Austintown, who were observing their 50th wedding anniversary.

Invitations for the event were extended by their daughter and her husband, Lisa and Don Weldon; their son and his wife, Michael and Mindy Lazazzera; and their son, David Lazazzera. Included in the family circle are five granddaughters, Nicole and Dominique Weldon, and Annika, Mia and Carlie Lazazzera.

The former Carmen Francisco and Mr. Lazazzera were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 1959, at Sacred Heart Church in Youngstown.

Mr. Lazazzera served with the U.S. Navy and retired from the Ohio Lottery Commission.

Mrs. Lazazzera, a homemaker, worked for General Electric prior to her marriage.

The couple were the original owners of Lazazzera’s Italian Foods in Cornersburg.
