Winter wedding for Bartholomew-Davies union

BOARDMAN — Joe and Gail Bartholomew of Boardman announce the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Bartholomew, and Matthew Davies, son of Diane Davies and William Davies of Cleveland.

The couple will be married in an open ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at St. Charles Church. An evening reception will follow by invitation at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, Canfield.

The bride-elect graduated from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She received her master’s degree in education and educational specialist degree in school psychology from Kent State University. Miss Bartholomew is a licensed school psychologist with the Mahoning County Educational Service Center.

The prospective groom graduated from Mercyhurst College with a bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies/political science. He is a firefighter with the Youngstown Fire Department.
