Winter concert to benefit Operation Blessing

The Canfield Community Concert Band under the direction of Anthony Cebriak will present a special winter concert Jan. 17 at 3 p.m. at the Canfield High School auditorium.

The concert will feature a variety of music including marches, classical and dixieland styles and admission to the event will be canned goods or cash donations to benefit Operation Blessing.

Operation Blessing is a volunteer group started over 20 years ago by Canfield Presbyterian, Old North, Canfield Methodist, St. Michaels, Canfield Christian and Calvary Baptist churches. They distribute food once a month, provide special holiday meals and collect gently used toys for families in Mahoning County.
