Support groups offered by Kelley-Robb

HUBBARD — Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, 709 N. Main St., announces the beginning of the 38th series of Grief Recovery Instructional Support Groups, for which the organizational meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The groups will meet at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home Care Center, next to the funeral home. The recovery groups are led by Philip Roland and are open to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.

Upon completion of the 10-week program, participants enter the “secondary group,” which is designed to help people rebuild their lives over time. This group meets twice a month. Mary Jean Hunt, a registered nurse, and Yvonne Hassell serve as the group’s facilitators.

The support groups are part of the Grief After Care Program sponsored by the funeral home and are not limited to those served by the funeral home. There is no cost or obligation for attending.
