Resolve in 2010: Join Neighbors
HAPPY 2010.
With the holidays behind us, Neighbors is pushing ahead to become the 2010 source for your community news and information.
You’re already getting the hang of this partnership and have been responding by sending us news and photos of everything from Christmas morning photos to baseball signups to news on what the school clubs have been up to.
We appreciate all your stories and story ideas — keep them coming.
There are a few community groups that really have the right idea. In addition to sending us news, they have contacted Neighbors about building a partnership in order to use Neighbors as a tool to let the community know what’s going on and how they can be an active part of it.
John Scotford, Jr., who is involved in Town One Streetscapes in Poland, contacted us about putting together a committee of residents to discuss generating story ideas for Neighbors. Now we’re talking. It’s interest such as that will help build Poland Neighbors into what we all want it to be.
It’s this sort of partnership that Neighbors is looking for in Poland. It’s a win-win for all of us.
Getting to us is simple.
The how-to information is all below in the “We want your news” box.
Be thinking about how you can use Neighbors to share your stories, events and photos with your community.
It will take all of us to truly put the “community” in community newspaper.
