Library schedules events for children

EAST PALESTINE — Beginning Monday, Toddlertime, a weekly program for children 2 to 3 years old, and a parent or caregiver, will be at 10:30 a.m. each Monday until April 26 at East Palestine Memorial Public Library, 309 N. Market St. Registration is required.

Children in kindergarten to fourth grade will be paired with a fifth-grade or older student for Book Buddies meetings, at which they will read together at 4:15 p.m.

There will also be activities and crafts available.

The older students are asked to register as volunteer buddies for the program.

There will be a preschool storytime for children 3 to 5 years of age at 1 p.m. each Tuesday until April 27.
