Q. What do you like best about living in your town?

A. The fact that it’s so family oriented. I’ve been working with my kids in tow for two years now, and it’s been quite accepted.

Q. What one thing would you add to your town if money was not an issue?

A. The accessible playground that All-Play is working on building.

Q. Describe the last community event you went to:

A. First Night Canfield. There were more than 85 talented youth performing this year - fully 1/3 of the acts were the youth of this area — and boy they knocked our socks off! Also, that it’s such a safe, fun environment for our youth on New Year’s Eve. It keeps everyone (parents included!) out of trouble!

Q. If there was a store or business to add to your town, which would you like it to be, and why?

A. An office supply store! I get tired of running to the other side of Boardman for supplies.

Q. If you could name a street after someone, who would it be and why?

A. Jack Saunders - he’s the greatest fundraiser and no one could say no to that.

Q. Where is your favorite place in town to go for a little hide-away time or bite to eat, and why?

A. Peaberry’s - great coffee, muffins and lunch.

Q. What one place would you direct an outsider to visit to experience your town, and why?

A. The Village Green and the architecture around town in Canfield — it’s such a strong element of the Western Reserve style. Oh, and First Night Canfield!!!

Q. Is there a song, book or movie that you hear or see and say “They’re describing me?”

A. “Upside Down” by Jack Johnson on the “Curious George” Soundtrack. I have kids and it’s a fun song reminding me to always stay curious!
