Fraud: Two unauthorized transactions were made on a Visa debit account at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West apartments.

Fraud: Eleven unauthorized transactions were made on a credit account at a home in the 900 block of Kirwan Drive.

Theft: A purse was taken at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: An ATM card was left behind and used in Canfield at the Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Joshua Cayson, 26, of 140 Aldrich Ave., on a charge of domestic violence at his home.

Recovered property: A bicycle taken from the 40 block of South Main Street was recovered in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.

Criminal damaging: A computer was damaged at a home in the 700 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

Theft: A purse was taken at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Dec. 22

Warrant: Police arrested Raymond Fowler, 59, of 2306 S. Turner Road on a Boardman court warrant charging menacing by stalking.

Recovered property: A Visa debit card was recovered by Austintown police.

Theft: Two National City/PNC debit cards and a Capital One card were stolen from an auto at an undetermined location and used.

Theft: A dryer was damaged and coins were stolen in the laundry room at apartments in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Theft: A dryer was damaged and coins were stolen in the laundry room at apartments in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Theft: Police arrested Jackson Williams, 47, of 2258 W. Sixth St., McDonald, and Joseph Gifford, 2907 Denniston Street, McDonald, on charges of theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. They are accused of stealing an Ohio State hat and a trifold wallet with a combined value of $16.77.

Dec. 23

Theft: Two men, Andrew Whitley, 23, of 3646 state Route 14, Rootstown, and Dana Lee, 23, of 748 Coe Road, Ravenna, were arrested, accused of taking beer bongs and glasses at Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.

Aggravated robbery: A man with a red bandanna over his face robbed Chipper’s Sports Bar, 5 N. Edgehill Ave., of an undetermined amount of cash and a cell phone.

Warrant: Police arrested Amirah Whisenant, 26, of 4531 Woodhurst Drive on a warrant for failure to appear.

Passing bad checks: A bad check for $636.76 was passed at Checks into Cash, 4774 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman was the victim of unwanted calls at Country Inn and Suites, 5570 Interstate Boulevard.

Assault: The manager was assaulted by an employee at McDonald’s, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road. The employee was fired and warned not to return.

Theft: Duane Ashford, 46, of 322 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a theft charge and released on a summons at Big Lots, 4341 Kirk Road. He is accused of taking $49 worth of merchandise.

Burglary: A handgun and jewelry were taken from a home in the 300 block of South Edgehill Drive.

Dec. 24

Felonious assault: A male was struck with a bottle by an unidentified female at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Steven Robertshaw, 31, of 3520 Hopkins Road, Youngstown was arrested and charged with stealing $6.66 worth of food items at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal mischief: Flowers and vases were broken at the 911 Memorial Park, 1055 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A CD antenna was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Burglary: Entry was gained through the east main door of a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road. A list of stolen items was to be provided to police later.

Dec. 25

Warrant: Gary McClellan, 28, 3850 Oakley Ave., Austintown, was arrested after a foot pursuit at 208 Forest Hill Drive on warrants charging him with aggravated burglary, rape, abduction and domestic violence.

Theft: A man is a suspect in a theft at a home in the 700 block of Notre Dame Avenue.

Telecommunications harassment: A man is a suspect in telephone harassment at home in the 6000 block of New Road.

Drug offense: Johnathan J. Hapcic, 34, 1575 Wellington Ave., was issued a summons accusing him of possession of marijuana in the 5000 block of Clarkins Road.

Dec. 26

Breaking and entering: A dryer coin box was broken into at an apartment in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Drug offense: Larry Benton, Jr., 32, 168 Mumford Drive, Youngstown, was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Norquest Boulevard and North Anderson Avenue.

Fraud: Internet fraud was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Redgate Lane.

Drug offense: Juisone L. Hightower, 33, of 324 Mahoning Ave., Niles, was arrested and accused of possessing methadone at Idaho Road and Mahoning Avenue.

Warrant: Aaliyah T. McBride, 30, of 1915 Southern Blvd., Warren, was arrested on a warrant charging him with obstructing official business at 92 Ohltown Road.

Drug offense: Vincent Marstellar, 23, 3239 Main St., Mineral Ridge, was arrested and accused of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at state Route 46 and West Radio Road.

Warrant: Linda Bennett, 25, 3462 Starwick Drive, Canfield, was arrested on a warrant charging probation violation.

Dec. 27

Barking dog: Robert Cirjak was issued a summons for having a barking dog at 5418 Callaway Circle.

Drug offense: Jessica Marker, 20, of 17470 Lakewood, Lake Milton, was issued a summons accusing her of a drug offense at Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive. She is accused of possessing a hypodermic syringe, Vicodin and heroin. Breaking and entering: A garage was entered and a Chicago chop saw was stolen in the 1000 block of County Line Road.

Receiving stolen property: Scott A. Davis was arrested and accused of receiving stolen property at Marcia Drive and Sterling Street.

Burglary: Two game systems and games were taken from an apartment in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.

Dec. 28

Theft: A clothes dryer was broken into at an apartment LeChateau, 4537 Woodhurst Boulevard.

Theft: Tables and chairs were stolen from the lobby of Greenbriar Village, 2230 S. Raccoon Road.

Breaking and entering: A storage unit at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road, was broken into.

Attempted auto theft: The steering column was peeled on a 1999 Trailblazer at Star Motorcars, 220 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: Pills and cash were stolen from a purse at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Rifles were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive in a theft that reportedly took place in September while the owner was on vacation.

Telephone harassment: Unwanted telephone calls and text messages were received at a home in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: A victim’s mailing address was changed to a P.O. Box at the U.S. Post Office, 6000 Mahoning Ave., instead of his mailing address by someone else. The mail was changed back to his home address in the 5000 block of Youngstown-Hubbard Road, Hubbard, after he had not received home delivery for more than a month.

Auto theft: A 2000 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen from a parking lot of an apartment in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Boulevard.

Burglary: A house was entered and jewelry was taken in the 4000 block of Kerrybrook Drive.

Criminal damaging: A garage door was damaged at a home in the 70 block of Westminster Drive.

Dec. 29

Criminal damaging: A sink and carpet were damaged at the Westgate Motel, 4493 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Constance Wells, 34, of 108 Harris Drive, New Castle, Pa., was arrested on a warrant for theft.

Theft: Numerous tools valued at $4,249.74 were stolen from the bed of a truck Dec. 11 at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Aggravated robbery: Two men, one with a gun, robbed McQuaid’s, 702 N. Meridian Road. They left in a silver car with dealer plates.

Theft: Rhiannon L. Summerville, 27, of 35 Osborn St., Youngstown, is charged with theft after she was accused of taking $99.96 of curtains without paying for them at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Dec. 30

Disorderly conduct: Tanisha D. Patterson, 27, of 1010 Compass West apartments, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct. She is charged with playing a home stereo system unreasonably loud.

Recovered property: A three-foot snowman was recovered at New Road and Woodgate Street.

Telephone harassment: Unwanted phone calls were reported at a home in the 30 block of South Main Street.

Aggravated menacing: A male suspect threatened by telephone to kill everyone at the business at Cambridge Home Healthcare, 5423 Mahoning Ave. The branch manager said the suspect has a history of threatening employees.

Theft: A UPS delivery was stolen from the front porch of a home in the 300 block of Rutland Avenue.

Drug offense: Shayne P. Waller, 18, of 5430 Baker St., Youngstown, was charged with drug possession after police found two clear bags of marijuana and arrested on a warrant for aggravated menacing. Edward M. Johnston, 19, of 75 Parkgate Ave., Youngstown, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a multicolored glass marijuana pipe and a pack of rolling papers at Kimberly Avenue and Norquest Boulevard.

Dec. 31

Warrant: Esther M. Moss, 42, 2647 Roy Street, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant alleging he had passed bad checks.

Theft: Keith E. Allen, 53, 122 W. Marion Ave., Youngstown, was issued a criminal summons on a theft charge at Big Lots, 4341 Kirk Road. Missing were colognes and a meat thermometer.

Theft: A truck was entered and numerous items were stolen from a purse at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: David Sklenchar, 31, 3908 Staatz Drive, Austintown, was arrested on a warrant alleging nonpayment of child support.

Jan. 1

Disorderly conduct: John Stromp, 25, 4622 Padgette Road., East Palestine, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at the Wedgewood Plaza, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: An iPhone was stolen from Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: Two windows were damaged at a home in the 1000 block of Raspberry Lane.

Telecommunications harassment: Calls were received at a home in the 3000 block of Lake Road.

Theft: $21.07 in fuel from Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal mischief: A house in the 2000 block of North Main Street was egged.

Criminal trespassing: Steven Jenkins, 32, 1764 S. Heights Ave., Youngstown, was released with a summons at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Drug offense: Peter Faumuina, 23, of U.S. Army Ft. Bridge, N.C., was issued a summons for marijuana possession at state Route 46 and Lou Ida Boulevard.

Jan. 2

Breaking and entering: Wedgwood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road, was broken into, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Receiving stolen property: Courtney Fidram, 23, 1967 Elmtrace, Austintown, was charged with receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest at First Place Bank, 4390 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Siding was damaged by paint balls at a home in the 90 block of North Main Street.

Breaking and entering: A coin dryer was broken into and change taken at apartments in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: T.J. Rider, 72, homeless, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply for littering and depositing of garbage in the 4700 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Aggravated robbery: A male suspect simulated having a weapon robbed Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road, and fled southbound on state Route 46 in a red Dodge Neon.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Baker Street.

Jan. 3

Theft: An Ohio State University hoodie was stolen from Dollar General, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: Fernand Venet, III, 25, and Brenda Connolly, 45, both of 111 Rosemont Drive, were arrested on a charge of domestic violence at the home. A female juvenile was also arrested.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Theft: Groceries were stolen from a vehicle at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.

Telephone harassment: Harassing phone calls were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.

Burglary: An apartment window was broken out and a television was stolen in the 5000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Telephone harassment: Unwanted telephone calls were received at a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Theft: A scanning unit was stolen and pawned by an employee at Jeswald’s Towing, 6528 Mahoning Ave.
