Eastern Gateway Community College extends registration

YOUNGSTOWN — Eastern Gateway Community College is extending its registration period through Jan. 15 due to the inclement weather.

Although classes begin Jan. 11, students may enroll for available classes through Jan. 15 without any penalty. The Valley Center is open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Jan. 8, 11-15. The center is located at 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown.

Online registration is available at www.egcc.edu for continuing and returning students. New students may apply online as well then call 330.884.0860 for information on advising sessions and free placement testing.

Although most classes begin Jan. 11, classes offered by the college’s delivery partner, Lorain County Community College, start on Jan. 19.
