ASSOCIATIONs

• Northeast Homeowners and Concerned Citizens Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave., Youngstown. Guest speaker will be Atty. • Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.

• McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

• McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.

AUXILIARIES

• Auxiliary to VFW Post 3538 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Post Home, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers. A social will follow.

CLASSES

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1944 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Perkins in Boardman.

CLUBS

• Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Blue Wolf Catering on Lockwood Boulevard. GUILDS

• Western Reserve Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Members should take their mystery stoles for a new pattern and should also check the Cablegram for the program details.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

• Friends of Boardman Library will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the community room for a social. A program at 10 a.m. will be presented by Rex Spaulding, whose topic will be “My France.” Reservations are not required. Hostesses for the social are Betty Anzevino, Margaret Klein, Julia Maruskin, and Jean Puhalla. Books, magazines and tapes are needed to supply the book cart every month and are collected from 10 a.m. to noon on the first and third Saturdays.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

• Mount Carmel Society of St. Rose Church in Girard will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the lower church.

SERVICE CLUBS

• Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St.

SOCIETIES

• Kinsman Historical Society will have a covered dish dinner (meat, drink and rolls provided) at 6 p.m. Sunday at Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St. The guest speaker will be Chris Klingemier, an authority on pre-Victorian Trumbull County architecture and early Trumbull furniture.

• Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will have a meeting at 7 p.m. Jan. 18. at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. The program will be “Southern Civil War and Family Research” by Jeff Wormley. The computer interest group will meet at 6 p.m.

SUPPORT GROUPS

• YWCA lupus support group will meet from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Oakhill Renaissance Center, 345 Oak Hill Ave. Demonstrations on physical and chair activities will be conducted at this meeting.

• Salem-Lisbon La Leche League, a breast-feeding support group, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the WIC office, 7876 Lincole Place, Lisbon. The topic of discussion will be “Advantages of Breast-feeding to Mother and Baby.” All pregnant or nursing mothers and their babies are welcome.
