“Brigadoon.” New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa. Auditions are 4-6 p.m. Jan. 24 and 6-8 p.m. Jan. 26. Needed: four male leads, singing/dancing, ages 20-60; two male leads, non-singing, ages 35-60+; two female leads, singing/dancing, ages 22-28; one male, age 20-25; one female, age 18-20; 12 male and 12 female chorus (no one under age 16). ENTERTAINERS AND TECHNICIANS

Cedar Point Live Entertainment, One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, OH 44870-5259. Searching for entertainers and technicians to fill more than 100 positions in the park’s Live Entertainment Division for the 2010 summer season. Representatives will have open auditions and interviews at the Live Entertainment Office from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Positions available: Performers: singers, dancers, singers/dancers and singers/musicians; musicians: electric guitars, bass guitars, keyboards and drummer/percussionists; technicians: stage managers, sound and light technicians, stage crews, ushers, costume-shop personnel and dressers; Peanuts characters: costumed characters and escorts; and karaoke hosts and DJs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old by May 2010 to audition. Each audition piece should be limited to 16-32 bars. Applicants should select music that is upbeat and illustrates their personality and ability to interact with audience members. A CD player and piano will be available, but other instruments and amplifiers will not be provided. Interested applicants should bring a one-page r sum with references to the audition. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Tri-C Metropolitan Campus Auditorium, downtown Cleveland. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), substitute brass and percussion for the 2009/10 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 p.m. Thursdays.
