Weathersfield BOE approves ballot question

MINERAL RIDGE — The Weathersfield Board of Education approved placing the third renewal of a five-year emergency operating levy on the May 4 primary election ballot.

The five-year issue generates $418,128 a year and was last approved in March 2005 for five years at 4.2 mills, Treasurer Laurena Rouan said Wednesday night.
