Pa. man charged with raping model after photo shoot

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — A suburban Philadelphia man is being held for trial on charges he lured a model to a photo shoot and raped her.

Thirty-six-year-old Daimon Parrish of Rosemont was ordered to stand trial today for the reported attack on a 20-year-old model last month.

Prosecutors say Parrish contacted the woman through a Web site that connects photographers and models. They say he took a few pictures then raped and assaulted her at a chiropractic office in King of Prussia.

Defense attorney James Lyons says the woman’s credibility is questionable.

A judge raised Parrish’s bail to $5 million at today’s hearing.
