Pacers 97, Magic 90
INDIANAPOLIS — Roy Hibbert scored a career-high 26 points, leading the Pacers. Hibbert, a 7-2 center, added eight rebounds and four blocks. Luther Head had 18 points and Dahntay Jones scored 13 for the Pacers, who have won two of three after losing eight straight. Mickael Pietrus and Jameer Nelson each scored 16 for the Magic, who still lead the Southeast Division despite consecutive losses to Chicago and Indiana. Dwight Howard played with foul trouble most of the night and finished with 11 points and 15 rebounds. The Pacers led 68-62 entering the fourth quarter and used an 8-0 run, capped by Hibbert’s 21-foot jumper, to extend their lead to 88-76 with 5 minutes left. Hibbert’s jumper over Howard to beat the shot clock a minute later helped seal the win. Indiana, which shot 40 percent from the field and capitalized off 12 Orlando turnovers in the first half, took its biggest lead, 45-35, on Jones’ free throw late in the second quarter.
Bobcats 113, Bulls 108
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Gerald Wallace scored 32 points, Stephen Jackson and Flip Murray added 25 each and the Bobcats held off a late rally for their third straight victory. Derrick Rose and John Salmons missed game-tying 3-point attempts in the closing seconds for the Bulls, who gave up seventh place in the Eastern Conference to the Bobcats despite wiping out a 13-point second-quarter deficit. Rose scored 10 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter and Salmons added 19 for the Bulls in the fast-paced game that saw both teams shoot 51 percent. The Bobcats improved to 12-4 at home after consecutive road wins over Miami and Cleveland. But they had trouble putting away the Bulls, who dropped to 3-12 on the road.
Wizards 104, 76ers 97
PHILADELPHIA — Antawn Jamison tied his season-high with 32 points and had 14 rebounds, Nick Young scored 21 points and the Wizards overcame an 18-point deficit. Delfino wasn’t the only reserve who stepped up for the Bucks. Hakeem Warrick added 13 points and Luke Ridnour had 11 as the Bucks beat the Nets for the second time this season.
