Youngstown Club to host Polish carnival

YOUNGSTOWN — Ostatki, a Polish carnival celebration, will begin at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St.

The evening will feature a vodka and beer tasting, heavy appetizers, games, prizes, live music, dancing and, of course, paczki, a type of Polish doughnut.

The semiformal event is open to the public, and a cash bar and dinner menu will also be available.

The cost is $30 in advance or $40 at the door. The deadline for paid reservations is Jan. 29. For more information call (330) 719-0415.
