Parfel-Witmer wedding plans are announced

Jennifer Parfel of New Springfield and Mike Witmer, 41835 state Route 517, Lisbon, are announcing their engagement and plans for their upcoming marriage.

The couple have chosen 1:30 p.m. May 1 for their open wedding at St. Jude Church in Columbiana. Their by-invitation reception will take place that evening at St. Jude Hall.

The bride-to-be is a daughter of Duane Parfel, 5585 Mowry, Louisville, Ohio, and David and Sandy Williams, 4551 Parks Ave., Louisville. She graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and is a project coordinator with B&J Electric of Poland Inc. in North Lima.

Rich and Margie Witmer, 14385 New Buffalo Road, Columbiana, are parents of the prospective groom. He is a journeyman electrician with B&J Electric of Poland Inc.
