Austintown schedules meeting on community center

AUSTINTOWN — The township administration wants community input on its idea for starting a community center.

Anyone interested in learning more about the possibility of a community center in Austintown is asked to attend a meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Township Administration Building, 82 Ohltown Road.

Representatives from the Niles Senior Center and the Girard Multigenerational Center will give presentations before residents are asked for their opinions and ideas.

The township trustees plan to attend to answer questions.
