Bullock, Jackman, others to attend People’s Choice
LOS ANGELES — Hugh Jackman, Taylor Lautner, Mariah Carey and Sandra Bullock are among the stars expected at this week’s People’s Choice Awards.
Steve Carell, Carrie Underwood, Ellen DeGeneres and LL Cool J also are set to attend the celebrity-filled ceremony Wednesday at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
The show will be broadcast live on CBS.
Executive producer Mark Burnett says the stars “are coming out in droves to thank the fans for their love and support.”
Queen Latifah will host the show in which fans vote for their favorite actors, musicians, movies and TV programs.
Spielberg, Kidman will present at Golden Globes
LOS ANGELES — Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman and “Avatar” star Sam Worthington are joining the list of celebrity presenters at the Golden Globe Awards.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which puts on the Golden Globes, says the three stars will help hand out trophies at the 67th annual ceremony.
They join previously announced presenters Jennifer Aniston, Halle Berry, Julia Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Colin Farrell, Matthew Fox, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.
The Golden Globe Awards will be Jan. 17 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills and broadcast live on NBC.
