Q. What do you like best about living in your town?

A. Close knit community, everyone knows everyone, safety, good schools, nice place to raise a family.

Q. What one thing would you add to your town if money was not an issue?

A. Community center with a pool, ice rink, workout facility, etc.

Q. Describe the last community event you went to:

A. Lighting of Poland Village. First time in a long time this event took place. For a first time event, it was well attended and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Q. If there was a store or business to add to your town, which would you like it to be, and why?

A. EXPO – it is a store owned by Home Depot that is a high-end home supply and furnishing store.

Q. If you could name a street after someone, who would it be and why?

A. My parents. They have always been there for me and are still to this day. In an age of divorce and single parent households, they have been married for 43 years, are very involved in my life and my children. They are good role models to emulate.

Q. Where is your favorite place in town to go for a little hideaway time or bite to eat, and why?

A. Inner Circle is a classic. Good food and local owners. I remember walking there on the last day of school in 1982 and have been going there ever since. It is a place that people go to when they come in from out of town to visit.

Q. What one place would you direct an outsider to visit to experience your town, and why?

A. Poland Woods. It is a treasure that not many people know about but is a great place to go. So many things to do and not very crowded. The library is also a gem.

Q. Is there a song or movie that you hear or see and say “They’re describing me?”

A. I don’t know, you would have to ask someone else that question. I would be interested to hear their answer(s).
