YOUNGSTOWN — The fashions of Nanette Lepore, acclaimed designer and Youngstown native, will be featured at the Trunk Show and Sale to be sponsored by Youngstown Symphony Guild from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the DeYor Performing Arts Center, 260 W. Federal St.
The fashion event will include more than $10,000 worth of Lepore’s designer clothing (sizes 0-12) for sale at 50 percent or more off the retail prices.
The gypsy-influenced designs are feminine and youthful, full of bold colors and bright prints, but not overly frilly.
Patrons will have an opportunity to try on the clothing before making a purchase. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted.
Also available will be accessories by Trendy Trousseau, cosmetics by Arbonne and a variety of items displayed by other vendors.
Admission will be $10 per person; those under 18 will be admitted free. Light refreshments will be provided.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the DeYor box office. For more information contact (330) 744-0264 or e-mail symphony@youngstownsymphony.com.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Youngstown Symphony education programs.
