Area cooks invited to enter chili cookoff

NILES — New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., will sponsor a chili cookoff from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday as a benefit for Relay for Life.

Area cooks are invited to participate. The entry fee is $5, and the winner will receive a gift certificate to the Eastwood Mall.

Featured at the event will be a Chinese auction for gift baskets, and lunch, hot dogs, chips, ice cream and other food items.
