Wrestlers headed to championships

MAPLE HEIGHTS — Three area wrestlers won matches on Friday to advance to today’s Division III district championships at Maple Heights High.

In the 152-pound class, Girard’s Nico Francis will face Waynedale’s Zebulun Beam.

In the 112-pound division, Jackson-Milton’s Vinnie Pizzuto will face Keystone’s William Spangler.

In the 130-pound division, jackson-Milton’s Johnny Matacic will take on Independence’s Angelo Colombo.
